January 2018 Computer Classes at NA-FC Library Featuring Beginner Level Classes

The New Albany-Floyd County Public Library continues our schedule of progressive monthly computer classes with a return to Beginner level classes in January 2018. To register for any of the following free classes, please visit the Customer Service Desk or call 812-949-3522. Please note that the following classes will be held in the Gallery Meeting Room, located on the lower level of the Library, right across from the elevator.

Computer ABC's - Tuesday, January 9, 6:30-8:00 PM Learn the very basics of computers, from what everything is, to how to turn it on, restart it, and shut it down. If you have not used a computer before, or have not used a computer very often, we recommend taking Computer ABC’s prior to our other computer classes.

Internet Basics - Tuesday, January 16, 6:30-8:00 PMTake the first steps onto the Internet. Topics include: the difference between the Internet and the Web; searching for things; narrowing searches; and interesting places on the Internet.

Beginner Excel - Tuesday, January 23, 6:30-8:00 PMThis is a class for those who have little to no experience with Excel. You will learn how Excel works and how to enter data, along with some easy functions, the difference between numbers and text, and some terms related to Excel.
